Thank you very much Tony for taking the time to read my article. I do see your point and agree with you that there is indeed a need for a regulatory body .There are other professions also who are experiencing the same problems and are also being regulated. I sincerely hope that Business Coaches will also have to undergo the same process and soon this Industry will also see a change.
I also appreciate the fact that Business Coaches like you with proven track record and having served with the forces have taken this profession to the new heights and will continue to do so even there are some people who fake their identity.
I congratulate you and all those successful coaches who are out there to make a difference

Thanks for the article, Shafi! You’ve put a lot of good information in it.
I do need to push back just a bit, though… The first thing you look for in a Coach, business or otherwise, is his/her track record of results. The best coaches seldom have to advertise. Their names are passed along with recommendations from current and former clients.
So many of the certification programs I’ve been exposed to are nothing more than money-making schemes and techniques with no data or history behind them.
I do see a need for a DEFINITIVE body that oversees coaches and issues licenses, though. To date, one, maybe two are close, but there are none.

My family and I have been traveling the world for the past two years and are very fortunate in that we’ve continued to build our travel expertise and business as we move about the Globe. Still, the truth is that as with any career, preparation is key. With 3 languages between us and having spent time in more than 25 countries, we have a decent head start.

There are many different paths for travel professionals and ours may be a unique one. We have extended knowledge of portable living with children in tow, running multiple virtual businesses over the Internet, and providing access to our vision via teleseminars, books, and audio courses. But our true purpose is to live life as we choose, where we choose, and on our own terms. It’s been an amazing adventure and we look forward to continuing to grow. Plus, our kids are becoming well-rounded international citizens.

The world is a wonderful place. We’re glad we’re experiencing it firsthand!

Great article, especially to the newbie! I have been wanting to create my own videos as well, but what do you do if you think, well, to be honest, that people will not like the way you look? What if you are not exactly what the public wants to see?

Hi Vanessa, You don’t have to face the Camera if you are not comfortable.Even without facing the Camera you can create nice Videos and convey your message.If you need any help on that Please let me know…TC
